The Tissue-Tek

Mega-Cassette

System (size 40x25x10

mm) is designed to provide specimen identification and

security from the grossing bench to the permanent paraf-

fin block. Suitable for larger tissue samples, thanks to the

depth (10 mm). Each cassette system is optimised for maxi-

mum fluid exchange during the processing cycle. When

utilised with appropriately sized Base Molds, the cassette

becomes the supporting structure of the paraffin block

during embedding. Cassettes come with an attached lid.

The Tissue-Tek

Biopsy 6-Chamber Cassette is designed to

separate the different biopsies for the same patient number.

The number for patient identification can be written on three

sides of the cassette. Together with the Biopsy 6-Chamber

Cassette, Sakura offers the Torpedo Shape Base Mold for

easy orientation of the tissue sample. Cassettes come with

an attached lid. Available in five colours.
