SF Glas™ Microscope Slides are made of

extra white soda-lime glass, having super optical and

technical characteristics. Due to the low iron content, the

self-fluorescence is extremely low. The greenish shimmer

is minimized and ensures optimal transparency, which is

essential in microscopy.

Microscope Slides is fully automated and underlies constant

quality controls. The quality proven slides are clean, have

a smooth surface and are ready to use. Easy wetting and

application of even smears are guaranteed. Tissue-Tek

SF Glas™ slides are available with cut edges or 90° ground

edge finishing

SF Glas™ Coverslips

Tissue-Tek

SF Glas™ Coverslips are ideal for the covering

of preparations in microscopic assays in histopathology,

medicine, biology and research. These Tissue-Tek

SF Glas™ Coverslips are made of D 263 M which is a

colourless borosilicate glass hydrolytic class 1 and due to its

composition has an excellent resistance to chemical attack.

To prevent sticking the Tissue-Tek

SF Glas™ Coverslips

are specially pre-treated with a separating agent. This

prevents the coverslips from adhering and therefore has a

positive effect on the use in the Tissue-Tek

automated glass coverslippers. The separating agent has

no influence on the assay results.

Item Code Description

The Super Mega Slides are specially made for larger

tissue sections, to enable uninterrupted examination

without loss of tissue. To run the Super Mega Slides

through an automated Slide Stainer, slide basket inserts

are available to accommodate five slides.

The Super Mega Coverslips are made of ultra-thin, pure

white borosilicate glass of hydrolytic class 1.

The quick way of refilling coverslips in the Glas™

, with

the convenient prefilled Easy Holder.
